2. Data We Collect We may collect the following information for teacher accounts: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Country, Educational Level, Institution Type or Professional Information, and an encrypted password. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
3. Purpose of Processing Personal data is processed for user authentication, account management, subscription management, technical support, service improvement, security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
4. Legal Basis Processing is based on the performance of a contract, legitimate interests, and compliance with legal obligations in accordance with the GDPR.
5. Data Storage User account data is stored using Supabase services. NUMETIS uses European hosting regions whenever available and has entered into a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Supabase to support GDPR compliance.
6. Data Security Appropriate technical and organizational measures are implemented to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction. Passwords are securely hashed.
